Privacy Policy

This policy sets out the way in which Bow Wow Meow Pet Insurance Pty Ltd ABN 76 124 601 127  may collect, use and disclose personal information about individuals.  As we recognise the importance of your privacy and understand your concerns about the security of your personal information, we are committed to respecting any personal information about you that we hold. This privacy policy details how we generally manage your personal information and safeguard your privacy.

This policy is current as of and from 1 November 2018.  We may amend this policy from time to time. A reference to ‘us’, ‘we’ or ‘our’ is a reference to Pet Tag Holdings Pty Ltd ABN 76 124 601 127 and its associated entities.

Kinds of personal information held

We only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for, or directly related to, one or more of our functions or activities.

  • your name, address, gender, date of birth and contact information;

  • details of your pet(s).

  • where a third party (eg a mailing house, call centre and providers of targeted marketing campaigns) carries out activities on our behalf;
  • if we consider it necessary to do so in order to enforce or apply the terms of any of our agreements with you;

  • as permitted under the National Privacy Principles; or
  • with your consent, which may be given expressly or reasonably implied by your conduct.

So while we strive to protect your information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us and you do so at your own risk. Access to personal information

You may request access at any time to personal information we hold about you. We may charge you a fee where access is provided. We may refuse to provide access if the National Privacy Principles allow us to do so.
